    The EHEIM BioPower 240 is a high-performance internal filter designed for aquariums ranging from approximately 160 to 240 liters. It uniquely combines multi-layer filtration similar to that of external filters within a compact internal design. This filter features modular closed filter baskets filled with highly efficient biological filter media such as EHEIM SUBSTRATpro, alongside mechanical filter cartridges for pre-filtration.

    Water enters through an intake at the bottom and is pumped upwards through several filtration layers, ensuring comprehensive mechanical and biological cleaning before being returned to the aquarium. The pump head is rotatable in three dimensions, allowing precise control over water flow direction. The filter also includes an output regulator for flow adjustment and accessories like a diffusor or nozzle tube to regulate air enrichment and surface movement for optimal oxygen circulation.
