The metal "ends" shown in the video are not present in the new adapters, so suitable for models with threaded moisture protection. In addition, it is possible to attach with screws (separately purchased) to a plastic cover with, for example, a plastic cover. the whole T5/T8 lamp unit removed.
This AquaEl Adapter Retrofit kit comes with everything you’ll need to fix an AquaEl Leddy Tube (sold separately) into an existing aquarium canopy/hood. The pack contains two adapters (one for each end of the Leddy Tube). They are available in a T5 (approx. 15mm diameter) model, or a T8 (approx. 25mm diameter) model.
