The sera UV-Csystem is universal and very powerful. It can be used in aquariums and garden ponds. UV-C rays are not found on earth, but only in space. Therefore, no organism has been adapted to this strong radiation during evolution, not even disease-causing organisms (bacteria, viruses, fungi) and the floating forms of filamentous algae. This is used by the sera UV-C System during filtration and improves the conditions and health of aquarium animals. Bacterial turbidity and greening of the water in the lake is effectively eliminated.

Inside the system, the water is irradiated with UV-C radiation for a short time. The device is equipped with a UV-C lamp, which is protected by a high-quality quartz glass casing through which water is irradiated. Water enters through an inlet connector and exits through a second connector on the other side. The connector makes it possible to connect hoses of different diameters.

One end of the system with the connector can be rotated and allows the connector to be adjusted as needed.

The system is available in different sizes for each need (see table). They are connected to a suitable pump by means of hoses. The UV-C system is equipped with an energy-saving lamp with a well-functioning electronic ballast.
